Grant McLellan

Senior Strategy Advisor

Grant McLellan was born and raised in Holdfast, Saskatchewan, where he grew up working on his family’s grain farm. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Regina, Grant embarked on a 10-year career with the provincial government, serving under both Premier Brad Wall and Premier Scott Moe.

From 2017 to 2022, Grant was the Chief of Staff to the Ministers of Parks, Culture, and Sport, Government Relations, Agriculture, and finally Immigration and Career Training and Trade and Export Development.

Following his decade-long government service, Grant became the Chief Executive Officer of the Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association. In this role, he collaborated with a 16-person board of directors to serve and represent the province’s 12,000 beef cattle producers. Additionally, Grant currently serves on the Canadian Western Agribition board of directors.

In his spare time, Grant supports organizations such as the Regina Symphony Orchestra, the Globe Theatre, and the Albert Park Community Association. He has also served on boards for several constituency associations in Regina.

Grant has a wealth of experience in managing political campaigns, contributing to the Saskatchewan Party victories in 2011, 2016, and 2020. His efforts helped elect candidates in Regina ridings. Along with a broad range of expertise spanning human services, governance, and trade policy, Grant has strong connections to the municipal and agricultural sectors.

He currently resides in Regina with his wife Meagan, their son Lachlan, and their two dogs.
